A Recent Debate on Technology as a Tool to End Poverty

The Boston Review has a “New Democracy Forum” and the most recent issue was titled Can Technology End Poverty?

Technology—no matter how well designed—is only a magnifier of human intent and capacity. It is not a substitute.
